Crawfish Risotto, Roux on Canton, Roswell. Outstanding. —Florence B.
"Looking for a great place to live in Atlanta? You may want to take a look at this town that's breaking suburban stereotypes.
The Huffington Post named Roswell as one of the most "surprisingly, genuinely cool" suburbs in the country. Aside from Coral Gables, Fl., Roswell is the only Southern suburb to be recognized.
What makes a city like Roswell so cool? According to the Huffington Post, places like Bulloch Hall, Canton Street in the historic district, Mill Village and the Ann Jackson Gallery makes this north Fulton suburb a place unlike any other."
WHERE TO DRINK BEER RIGHT NOW:
"For the past five years, Roux on Canton has been meeting the beer-drinking needs of OTPers in the north Atlanta ‘burbs. Located in historic downtown Roswell, Roux on Canton has plenty of options for the serious craft beer enthusiast. There are 12 rotating taps and plenty of by-the-bottle selections to keep you coming back for more. Look for ongoing events such as tap takeovers and beer launch parties throughout the year."
"The restaurants of Canton Street are fantastic, too. Little Alley is one of the most elite steak houses in all of Atlanta, and the upper-mid tier is well served by places like Salt, Roux and Table & Main. The Mexican food at Ceviche is on point. The wine lists at Vin 25 and Osteria Mattone are extremely sophisticated and comprehensive. The rooftop bar at Pure (and the Pure Margarita) never fails to satisfy. The burgers and beers at Moxie make it a top-15 burger joint nationwide (per Business Insider), and their porch overlooks the historic Roswell Mill."
